Hi, I'm Katie! Photographer, wife, mom, Jesus-lover, and cross-stitcher!

I first started out in photography with an old iPod touch that had a camera in it...that's what I used to take images of things that I found beautiful. I can still visualize my very first photographs in my head. I slapped the ugliest Instagram filters on them and was so proud. It wasn't until I actually realized that I had an eye for photography that I picked up an old digital camera of my dad's and started diving in head first. After that, I asked for my first camera for Christmas and then the rest is history. My passion only grew from there! 

I decided to pursue this passion as my major in college, in which I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from MTSU. I got married two weeks later and continued forward with all things photography. I'm now in my 11th year of professional photography! 

When I'm not photographing weddings or editing images on my computer, you can usually find me taking care of the family as a wife and mama to two, but I also LOVE cross stitching pieces for my home when the time allows! It's a creative outlet that I love having--something that is just for me to enjoy! 

My family and I also love to go camping whenever we can! Whether it's relaxing in our hammock, going for a nice walk in nature, or sitting by the fire at night, camping is our way to escape the world and find a little bit of peace.
